Roberto Gudiño was born and raised in the small border town of Douglas, Arizona where his love of filmmaking first surfaced and grew. He is a recent graduate of the University of Arizona (UA) where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in media arts. His documentary about a coffee cooperative that helps alleviate illegal immigration, “Just Coffee,” helped garner Gudiño the UA Centennial Achievement Award and has gone on to screen in numerous national and international festivals. Gudiño is now pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in production/cinematography at the University of California at Los Angeles. |
Roberto Gudiño viene del pueblo fronterizo de Douglas, Arizona frontera con Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. Gudiño recientemente se recibió de la Universidad de Arizona (UA) titulado con un Bachillerato en las Bellas Artes (BFA). Su documental de una cooperativa de café que redice la cifra de inmigrantes indocumentados, “Café Justo,” le ayudo al Sr. Gudiño recibir el premio UA Centennial Achievement Award y su película a sido mostrada al nivel nacional e internacional. Gudiño va en busca de una Maestría en las Bellas Artes (MFA) en producción/cinematografia en la Universidad de California en Los Angeles. |
